Encyclopedia Britannica Online
The full text, constantly updated and with links to thousands of other websites.
There are three distinct areas: JUNIOR, STUDENT (Lower & Middle Schools) and BRITANNICA (Upper School). They include extra curricular materials such as study guides. NOT ACCESSIBLE OUTSIDE THE COLLEGE.
ActiveHistory provides vast amounts of worksheets, lesson plans, interactive simulations and interactive quizzes for the history classroom with whole-school, 24-hour access for students and teachers.
Trace your family history - You can search censuses for England, Wales, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands from 1851 to 1901, England and Wales Civil Registration Indexes for births, deaths and marriages , plus UK and Ireland parish and probate records from the 1500s to the 1800s and even earlier. There are also a few military, immigration/emigration, court and probate records.
